Antelope Stair Runner – Cape Town CB79-0002A by Couristan
The Cape Town antelope stair runner is the quiet way to use animal print. Its small-scale spots in ivory, chocolate, dark gold and beige read as a warm neutral from across the room, so this antelope carpet runner suits a traditional staircase as well as a modern hallway. It's subtler than zebra or cheetah, and the busy pattern hides the tracking that shows on a plain runner within a year.
Built for Stairs, Landings and Hallways
- 100% nylon – the most resilient synthetic for stairs; springs back from foot traffic and resists stains.
- .25" low pile – wraps stair nosings cleanly, sits flat on landings and fits under doors.
- Life rating: Great – rated for high-traffic use.
- Width: 26 inches – suits most residential staircases; for wider stairs, see our 3 foot wide runner rugs.
Custom Length, Priced by the Foot
This antelope runner for stairs is cut to order and priced per linear foot. Enter your length at checkout and add optional finishing to serge the cut ends. Straight staircases are simple to size; if yours has a landing, turn or spiral, we recommend having an installer or flooring professional provide a length estimate before you order. If you have any questions about calculating the proper length, our team is happy to offer guidance – contact us before checkout, since every antelope stair runner carpet is cut to your measurements and can't be returned. Fit a stair pad underneath and have it installed waterfall or Hollywood style.
Styling an Antelope Runner Rug
Treat the antelope pattern carpet as a neutral: it pairs with oak and walnut treads, white or deep-painted walls, and brass or black railings. Keep nearby decor simple so the antelope print stair runner is the one statement in the space.
