Payless Rugs does not sell seconds and we
guarantee that you will receive only 1st quality merchandise!
Any merchandise with a manufacturers defect will
be exchanged at no cost to you.
In most cases a call tag will be issued and the
original carrier will pick up the defective merchandise at the manufacturers
expense.
Payless Rugs must be notified within 5 business
days of receipt of defective merchandise.
A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER AND THE RETURN
SHIPPING ADDRESS MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO SHIPPING THE ITEM BACK.
Should any shipping damage be noticed at the time
of delivery either refuse delivery or make the carrier leave a damage receipt
with you. Should you notice shipping damage after delivery, keep all packing
materials with the item and notify customer service immediately, so a claim may
be filed, and a replacement can be shipped.
Rug sizes that fall within 6 inches of the
advertised size are not considered a manufacturers defect see Rug
Sizes for further details.
Rug Colors: Colors of rugs vary from one computer
monitor to another, if you are unsure of the colors please call to see if a
sample is available prior to ordering. Also please note the pictures you see on the internet are generally of a 5 x 8 or 8 x 10 size area rug. Smaller rug sizes may look different in reference to patterns due to the smaller scale of the are rug. Some manufacturers label their rugs
differently than the color they use in the description, and sometimes change the
dye lot color over time (last years green may be a different shade than the
current green). Manufacturers do not consider color variations a defect and they
will not accept returns based on color, or if the rug does not fit your décor,
etcetera. In that case, the rug may be returned to Payless Rugs under the
terms of our Return
Policy and not the manufacturer, as they will refuse any shipment
without a return authorization number.

Return Policy
For
defective or damaged merchandise please see our 1st
Quality Guarantee above.
If you are unsure about the color, texture,
etcetera, please call prior to ordering to see if a sample is available. Where a
sample rug is available we will ship you the sample, if you purchase a 5' x 8'
rug or larger simply ship the sample back to us, within 7 days of receipt,
and we will issue full credit for the sample towards your purchase. If the
sample does not work and no purchase is made simply ship the sample back to us,
within 7 days of receipt, and we will issue you a refund for the sample less a
$15.00 sample service fee.

defective or non damaged merchandise please see below:
In order to maintain the lowest every day prices,
a 10% restocking fee or $15.00 per item, whichever is greater, is charged on all
returned items where a return authorization number has been issued by Payless
Rugs prior to the return of the merchandise. Rug pads included with the sale of
a rug must also be returned or the price of the pad will be deducted from the
refund.
A return authorization number and the designated
return address must be obtained within 7 days of the receipt of merchandise.
The item must have the return authorization number written on the outside of the
package and must be shipped back at the customers expense within 7 days of a
return authorization number being issued.
ANY ITEM RETURNED WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER CAN AND MAY BE REFUSED AND OR RETURNED TO SENDER AT THE PURCHASER’S EXPENSE. IF A RETURN IS ACCEPTED, WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION, THE RETURN WILL SUBJECT TO A RESTOCKING FEE OF UP TO 50%, PROVIDING THAT A CREDIT IS
ISSUED TO PAYLESS RUGS BY THE VENDOR. IN THE CASE THAT NO CREDIT IS ISSUED TO PAYLESS RUGS, FOR A RETURN ACCEPTED BY THE VENDOR WITHOUT A
RETURN AUTHORIZATION, THAN NO CREDIT SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE PURCHASER. UNDELIVERABLE OR REFUSED ITEMS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE SAME POLICIES, AS THOSE STATED ABOVE, FOR ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION.CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE CUSTOMER ONCE AND ONLY WHEN WE RECIEVE CREDIT FROM OUR VENDORS.IT MAY TAKE UP 3-4 WEEKS BEFORE CREDIT IS ISSUED AFTER RETURN. PLEASE NOTE IT MAY TAKE UP TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR CREDITS TO APPEAR ON STATEMENTS
Do
not return items to the ship from address,
many items are shipped from the manufacturer and they will not issue a credit if you simply send the item back to them, the manufacturer will refuse the item if
they have not issued a return authorization. Where manufacturers do not accept
returns Payless Rugs accepts these items into our inventory and the item must be
shipped back to the address we provide.
Items must be returned in original new saleable
condition, in their original protective wrapping.
In order to assure prompt credit please e-mail
and retain the tracking number.
Rugs over size 8 ft x 11 ft (please contact us
for a sample if you are unsure about the color, texture, etcetera prior to
ordering) , items sold as a discontinued item, custom orders, rugs made to order, cut roll runner, cut or open
package rug pads, and cut stair rod orders are not returnable, except in the
unlikely event of a manufacturers defect.
We do not accept rugs that have been damaged or
soiled.

Cancellation Policy
We make every effort to ship your item as fast as
possible, we first check the availability of the item purchased prior to
charging your credit card, and we do not charge your credit card until we have
confirmed stock is available except where a custom order is being fabricated for
you. Most items are in stock and they are ordered from the manufacturer to drop
ship directly to you, once we confirm stock your order is processed and your
credit card is charged. In the event that an item is on backorder you may cancel
your order without penalty, unless it is a custom order being fabricated where
production has started. In order to maintain the lowest every day prices, a 10%
cancellation fee or $15.00 per item, whichever is greater, is charged on all
processed orders, where the item is in stock and we have ordered the item for
you or sent the item to our shipping department. This fee covers the charges
from the credit card company (they charge us even if we refund you), acquisition
cost, processing cost, administrative cost and other expenses associated with
all orders, as we have these expenses on orders that are canceled as well as on
those that are not. We will make every effort to stop a shipment of a cancelled
order, however we cannot always control shipment once a item has been processed
as some manufacturers cannot stop shipment once an order has been placed with
them. Any shipped item is subject to a restocking fee in addition to return

Rug Sizes
We
have made every attempt to provide up to date accurate information on each and
every product we carry, we have used the manufacturers specification sheet for
sizes. They are much more accurate than the 4' x 6', 5' x 8', etc.
industry standard sizes. The rug manufacturers give us approximate size
specification sheets and the manufacturers do not consider any rug that falls
within 6" of the specified sheet size a manufacturers defect and will not
accept any returns for rug sizes. If you should need a more exact size rug
please contact us and we will make every effort to find you exactly what you are
looking for.
