History
DYNAMIC RUGS was started in 1994 as a broker business in containers. In 1997 it was decided to turn this partnership into a full service rug importing company, built to service the independent home furnishings retailers in the United States. Since then the scope of the company has changed with our warehouse now supplying rugs from India, China, Turkey in addition to Romania and Belgium to dealers in USA, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. We also now provide customized products and programs to service the larger retail chains in North America. Still, the main focus of the company remains the same, and is based on the three principals of service, value, and fashion to our customers.
Service
It is the goal of DYNAMIC RUGS to provide our customers the products and services they need for problem free transactions and sales. Currently we are shipping orders placed at a rate of 90% of the time or better within 3 working days. A commitment to on hand inventory is one of the basic principals of the company. In addition, we have negotiated large discounts with shipping companies to lower the shipping costs and improve our shipping service to our dealers. We provide our dealers a color catalog as well as an on-line catalog on our website. In 2005 we purchased and moved into an 85,000 SF distribution facility in Frederick MD, to give us the space to expand and better organize our inventory. We have also upgraded our internal information systems adding more office personal and customer service staff.
